Amir abbas SHOJAIE Biography

Amir abbas SHOJAIE was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1970. He received the B.S. (1993) and M.S. degree (1996) And Ph.D. degrees

(2003) in Industrial engineering from the Tehran University Science & Research, Tehran, Iran.

In Feb. 2007, he joined the School of Industrial Engineering, University of azad university-Tehran south branch, as a Lecturer, and in became associate Professor of Industrial engineering. Since December 2007, he has been with the School of industrial Engineering, became Dean of Master of Science students in 2009 till 2016. His current research interests include quality engineering, modeling, and Project management, optimization with focus on customer satisfaction and transportation system, productivity and modeling. In more normal times Amir abbas Shojaie also works on the empirical study of quality standards , logistic, social responsibility, technical inspection, and the quality tools. He serves on the board of directors of Iranian Industrial Engineering Association and Iranian Scientific Quality Association and Export and Import Goods Inspection Association. In connection with his executive work, he was in charge of the quality inspection project manager in connection with the major phases of South Pars gas refineries and had many responsibilities in the field of technical inspection in various industries.

He is a member of national/international standard development committees in the fields of quality, project, risk, etc. He has a background in management and membership in the boards of directors of technical inspection, quality control and quality certification companies and He has published many journal articles and conference articles and 4 books in industrial engineering field.
